Deb Rutledge- Ballet,
Modern
Deb earned a B.F.A. cum laude from Ohio
Universtiy where she studied under G. Balin, T. O'Connor, D. Nielson and D.
Elkins to name a few. Her choreography has been presented at Putnam Studio
Theater, Rio Grand
University, Hallmark Dance Works,
The Cleveland School of Music, in Brave new Dances and community centers
throughout Ohio
and the Capital Region. Deb has also co-directed community performances
within the Capital Region. Deb teaches ballet and modern dance and is on
faculty at the RPI Dance Club, The Dance Center of Queensbury, Youth Ballet
School, and the eba Center
for Movement. She also teaches in eba's Arts-in-Education program helping to
develop curriculum and working with Special Needs populations. Deb began her
performing career with the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company where she created
major roles. Deb joined Maude Baum and Company Dance Theatre in the Spring of
2002, where she was also employed as a grant writer and administrator. Deb is
currently working towards a second degree in Physical Therapy.

Aaron - Tap
Aaron has been studying Tap dance for 16
years. He has trained at Eleanor's School
Of Dance in Colonie New York. Aaron has
trained with many well known Choreographers such as Mike Minery, Gil
Stroming, Debbie Dee etc. For over two years He has been on staff at
Eleanor's and the choreographer for the Tap class at RPI dance club. He is
also part of a Tap company in New
York City. Aaron has won numerous awards and titles
for his perfomces in tap in both Regional and National World final
competitions. Aaron is excited to be returning this year as the tap teacher
at RPI.
Jennifer Pekins- Jazz
Jennifer Pekins has been dancing for 22
years. She has received training in ballet, jazz, lyrical and tap from
several local studios as well as Broadway
Dance Center,
Luigi Jazz
Center and Steps on Broadway in New York City. She has
trained with several instructors/performers including Karen Kramer, Debbie
Dee, Frank Hatchett and Luigi. Jennifer also danced competitively in tap,
jazz and lyrical at both the regional and national levels of StarPower,
RheeGold and Applause Competitions, where she received numerous first place
and top ten recognitions. Jennifer is currently an instructor at Broadway
Dance Company where she also choreographs for the Broadway Dance Competition
Teams.
